that's no business

Alright, so the next day after writing that post, my girlfriend got a response back from mycandyeyes.com.


It said,

Hi,

That item is temporarily out of stock.
Please let us know if you would like a replacement item or if you would like a refund for that item.

Thank you

So basically, after 3 months of waiting for my pair, they've finally decided to tell me it was out of order. I know that's basically not the case. They most likely didn't(forgot to) ship my pair, and had hoped that we'd just forget about it. Or just wait another 3 months til they re-stocked so they can ship it then. I know some of these business' order them from somewhere else in bulk, but mycandyeyes.com just don't even have the courtesy to inform customers of anything.

Frankly, I'm surprised they emailed my girlfriend back so quickly as they did, considering I've seen other people complain about the customer service ignoring them, not replying back for weeks. That still doesn't excuse the fact that they fucked up royally. I'm pretty the combination of left nut and my thumb up my ass can run a better business.

FUCK THESE GUYS.

the story begins.

Aye: I can't believe I'm wasting even more time doing this. I guess I gotta let everyone know how well mycandyeyes.com is running since Death by Dizziness's review on them a year ago.

So my girlfriend found www.mycandyeyes.com one day and decided to buy some lenses from them since they were relatively cheaper than other vendor's we've seen online. She ordered 2 pairs, and I decided to order 2 pairs also since she got me into wearing them, and the fact it was free shipping over 60$ orders (i'm assuming that last part, because it's been too long since we've made the order and i can't remember that exactly). Anyway, we made the order for 4 pairs (2 for her, 2 for me) on January 13.

By January 25, the order still remained "processing". So my girlfriend emailed them that day regarding the lengthy time it took to make the order, considering it's been 12 days or (8 business days) since the order. I don't know about you, but I've ordered a ton of shit online, and it has never taken this long to process & ship an order.

That same day she received an email back saying:

"Your order was shipped out today. You can expect to receive it within the next 5-8 business days depending on USPS/Customs.
The status has been changed to reflect that the package was shipped.
Please note, delivery to outside the US make take up to 3 weeks due to customs, so your order is on schedule.
Please feel free to ask any further questions."

and moraculously, on the their website, the order was now labelled as "shipped".

3 weeks later (or 15 business days) on February 15, we finally received an order as they stated. But when I opened up the package, what do you know? ONLY HALF OUR ORDER WAS SHIPPED. One was hers, and one was mine. That day my girlfriend emailed them about the other missing half of our order. 

2 days later, on February 17, they emailed back saying:


"We are deeply sorry for the delay in shipment.
Your order is not scheduled to be shipped out until Feb. 18. There was a longer than expected delay in shipment due to the Chinese New Year holiday in Korea.
For the inconvenience, we would like to provide you with a free pair of lenses. Please email us back with the item number and we will have it mailed out free of charge.
Once again, we are deeply sorry for the delay and any inconvenience it may have caused.
If you can no longer wait, a full refund can be issued.
Please do not hesitate to ask any further questions.
Thank you"
The order wasn't supposed to be shipped til feb 18??? Then what the hell did you say it was shipped on January 25th for? or more importantly, what the fuck did you ship!? I'm not quite sure when my girlfriend ordered her free pair, but it was either on February 17 or 18(i'll edit this part when she gets home). And so, on February 18, the other half of our package is supposedly "shipped".
3 weeks later (or 15 business days), on March 11,  We received their package in the mail. Opened it up, and HEY! Guess what!? Only ONE pair was shipped, and it was my girlfriend's half. So lets recap, 1st package had 2 pairs, one for her, one for me. 2nd package had only 1 pair which was my girlfriend's. Good going guys @ mycandyeyes! And again, my girlfriend emailed them back concerning where my pair was hiding at. (AND NO RESPONSE TO THIS DAY ABOUT MY MISSING PAIR)
20 days later on March 31, we received another package in the mail from them. Opened it up, and what could it be? THE FREE PAIR.

So my girlfriend emailed them back today (April 1) about my pair still missing in action, and they replied with,

Yeah, too bad my girlfriend n I aren't customers from the United States. With that excuse being proven stupid, where's my order?

Since January 25, when our order was first considered "shipped", we've received a total of 3 packages. We had our original order of 4 pairs & a free pair, and have still yet to receive my last pair to complete the order. It has been 66 days (or 48 business days) since January 25,  - OR -  42 days (or 30 business days) since February 18 (the 2nd shipping date).

Aye; I don't know why they couldn't have just informed us in the first place about the longer delay in shipment due to the Chinese New Year in Korea. I mean, c'mon, you're telling your customers to expect it in so amount of days, of course we'll expect in then. If something comes up, isn't it your duty to let us know if there's any issues in delays? I also don't know why they rushed their asses to ship the free pair, when our original order from HOW LONG AGO is still missing.
I've seen mixed reviews online about mycandyeyes.com. But I think it's safe to say; "If you're not from the united states, don't bother ordering from mycandyeyes.com", because it'll take a hell of a long time to ship to where you are. I've also got the inclination that once you send an email to them as a disgruntled customer, you're immediately on their shit list.
Oh yeah, I also forgot. Since placing the order on January 15, my girlfriend had also ordered some wholesale clothing from a website in fucking China, and guess what? I'm pretty sure she received it in less time than when we received our first order from mycandyeyes.com. I mean, 20$ ain't that big of a deal, and it's not like I'm pulling this as a stunt to get free shit, but when you're dealing with an ignorant company like mycandyeyes, you just want fuckin' justice! Jay Cash, has got to get his shit STRAIGHT!
